Dr. Viking Bhanoo is a highly experienced General & Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon with qualifications MBBS, MS (AFMC Pune), DNB (General Surgery) and multiple advanced fellowships in minimally invasive surgery. A former Surgeon Commander in the Indian Navy, he is recognized for his expertise in advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures. He completed his postgraduate training at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, and has extensive experience in managing a wide range of general and laparoscopic surgical conditions. Dr. Bhanoo also holds the unique distinction of being the first doctor in the world to successfully summit Mount Everest, reflecting his dedication, discipline, and perseverance. His areas of expertise include laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder surgery), appendectomy, inguinal hernia repair, advanced laparoscopic gynecological procedures including Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH) and ovarian cyst removal, as well as infertility correction and tubal recanalization.
